November In Colours Club Card

November In Colours Club Card

This project is both envelope and card all in one. It uses the product of the week Envelope Punch Board for something a little bit different. It is also the next instalment of the In Colors Club collection that went out in the mail. Everyone who subscribed to it received a Stampin’ Pad, a Stampin’ Write Marker, 4 sheets of A4 cardstock, 4 each of two designs 6″x6″ DSP, 5 Mini Binder Clips, 3m Grosgrain Ribbon, a FREE Sponge Dauber and a hand made card in the In Color of the month (each month they will collect a different colour). This is the card I made for November. This month for my blog post I’m focusing on Call Me Clover. Previously I showed you Lovely LipstickGrapefruit Grove, and Pineapple Punch.

I’m super pleased with this card. There’s only one thing that I would change – I would add the floral element on the front to the belly band instead of directly to the card/envelope. My instructions below are written with this change.

To create this card:
Envelope: In Colour 2018-2020 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper in Call Me Clover
Insert: Call Me Clover 4″ x 3″
Card: Whisper White 100mm x 143.5mm scored at 74mm along the long edge
Belly Band: 1″ x 7″

  1. Using the envelope punch board punch and score the first size of the In Colour 2018-2020 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper at 2 and 5/8″ mark. Go around using the score guide for the other three sides.
  2. On another piece of Whisper White cardstock stamp the following images: the big medallion, small flower twice, the striped flower (stamped off) and the six leaves shape (stamped off) from the Happiness Surrounds stamp set.
  3. Fussy cut the medallion and die cut out the other elements using the coordinating dies from the Snowfall Thinlits.
  4. Fold the Whisper White card along the score line. You will find that it doesn’t quite fold in half. I have done this intentionally. Along the inside bottom edge (the part that isn’t covered by the fold) stamp the border decorative image along the edge.
  5. On the front of the card stamp a sentiment in the bottom left corner. I chose the “Here’s to new beginnings” sentiment. Also stamp the large leaves which you position to be sitting behind the six leaves floral shape. Adhere the six leaves floral shape on top and then one of the small flowers.
  6. Adhere the card to the Call Me Clover insert and adhere both to the inside of the envelope.
  7. Close up the envelope and wrap around the belly band and create the folds. There should be just over 1/2″ overlap. Glue the ends together. TIP: wrap the belly band around slightly loose so that it can come off without a struggle.
  8. Adhere the medallion, striped flower and little flower to each other and then attach to the belly band

I really love that it is a card and envelope all in one! This makes your envelope punch board so much more versatile that it can create more than just envelopes! This project is easily modified to any colour scheme, or combination of colours as well as themes and stamp sets!

Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.

Bye for now!
