Back in June I organised a blog hop for HeartKids Super Boss Day to raise awareness of congenital heart disease. Some amazing Australian demonstrators (and supporting demonstrator) joined me for this blog hop. It was my first time ever organising a hop and I couldn’t do it without them. I wanted to show them all how grateful I was by sending a thank you card.
All supplies used in this card are shown at the end of this post in the thumbnails. These linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
I wanted the cards to be new but also reflect what I had made for the original blog hop. You can seen the blog hop by clicking here.
To create these cards:
- Prepare card base in Whisper White Thick cardstock.
- Prepare card front in Poppy Parade and Blueberry Bushel cardstock 100mm x 143.5mm.
- Run the card front through the Big Shot and emboss it using the Subtle Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.
- Then cut from the card front the medium sized stitched label from the Stitched Seasons Framelits.
- Stamp in Stazon Ink the large jar from Jar Of Love stamp set on Whisper White cardstock and cut out using the matching framelit from Everyday Jars Framelits.
- Cut from scraps of Poppy Parade and Blueberry Bushel the stitched heart from the Stitched Labels Framelits.
- Stamp the Thank You sentiment from he Blended Seasons stamp set in Versamark and heat emboss in White Stampin’ Embossing Powder.
- Assemble the card by placing the opposite colour label into the card front and then attach the jar and hearts on top.
My favourite part of this card is the little stitched hearts and the embossing folder. What’s yours?
