I cased this idea of the sparkly Christmas Tree from a fellow demonstrator Catherine Laura from Canada. It is so pretty, the photos really don’t do it justice!
All supplies used in this card are shown at the end of this post in the thumbnails. These are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store.
To create this card:
- Prepare card base in Whisper White Thick.
- Prepare card front in Granny Apple Green 95mm x 138.5mm and Whisper White 90mm x 133.5mm
- Stamp the Christmas tree from the Snow Is Glistening stamp set in Granny Apple Green (TIP: use the stamparatus that way you know you can fix any areas that don’t stamp well).
- Stamp the Merry Christmas sentiment from the Better Together stamp set
- Rub over the Christmas tree with Embossing Buddy (to prevent glitter sticking to parts of the card you don’t want it to).
- Put some Fine Tip Glue onto the larger snowflakes forming snowflakes and sprinkle Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter on top. Allow to dry.
- OPTIONAL: cut a small snowflake from the Snowfall Thinlits from Sparkle Glimmer Paper and attach it to the top of the Christmas tree with a Rhinestone Basic Jewel in the middle.
- Assemble the card by adhering the Granny Apple Green card front to the base and then the whisper white one on top
