Hello Everybody! Welcome to my blog!
Now that I’ve been to OnStage yesterday I can share with you the cute little table gifts I made. These were give to people who were sitting at the same table and me yesterday and to staff as well.
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Details of this project:
- Die cut from Window Sheet the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box.
- Cut card stock (I used Rococo Rose) 4 1/2″ x 4 1/2″ and then die cut the Mini Curvy Keepsake Box again. This will be your Keepsake Box insert. TIP: You will need to position the die into the middle of the card stock. The die will be bigger than the card stock. See image below:
- Once you have the insert for your Keepsake Box, you will die cut each of the four sides with an edge die. I used the one from the Lovely Flowers Dies. See pictures below:
- When die cutting the edges I tried to mirror the opposite side. I did two different placements of the die, you can use the same placement on all four sides. NOTE: the curvature of the Keepsake Box is ever so slightly different on the left and right compared to the front and back sides.
- Place your insert on top of the Keepsake Box cut from the Window Sheet, add a chocolate (I added a Forrero Rocher), then fold up the flaps. First the ones with the handles, then the ones that slip over the top.
- To finish, add some ribbon. I used the Rococo Rose Scalloped Linen Ribbon and tied it on with some Linen Thread!
What do you think? Super cute or what?
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.
Bye for now!

Thank you Jennifer! Glad you like it. On a side note I’ve visited Calargy twice now but both before I was a demo! Lovely part of the world.
I love this beautiful box❣️ It’s original and incredibly creative! I would never have thought of using window sheets as the real box.
Thank you Cindy!

Beautiful, and wonderful idea for special gifts or weddings, showers, etc. Thank you Tatiana for sharing your creativity and tutorial.
Thank you Linda! Yes you are right it will be lovely for weddings and showers. It’s my pleasure in sharing.
Hi Tatiana! I’m Glenn from Chicago, my wife, Dawn, and I are SU Demos. These favor boxes are beautiful!!! My daughter is getting married June 27th and always wanted a Beauty and the Beast wedding! Well, the B & B theme has been trimmed down considerably to make room for a Texas BBQ!
But we’re still incorporating some B & B with the invites (which I’ve attached a pic), the favors and reception decor.
I do have a question, when cutting the window sheets did you have any problem with a string-like piece of the acetate around the cut edge of the box? It’s a pain to remove completely especially when I have to make 100 of these! Any suggestions? I tried cutting through tissue paper but that didn’t seem to help much. I had to use bulk Grafix crystal clear acetate sheets (same thickness as our window sheets) just to keep costs down. Hope you can help! Thanks!!!
Hi Glenn! sorry for the delayed reply. Congratulations to your daughter how exciting. I had no problems with the string-like pieces. I got them but just really ignored them and by the time I assembled the boxes they were gone. Good luck with making 100!!
They’re just gorgeous – so elegant. My question is: when you’re doing the 4 borders, how do you avoid the Big Shot not “smushing” the 3 other cuts?
Hi Tavette! Thank you for visiting my blog and taking the time to comment. The box is really tiny so it fits onto the Big Shot cutting plate so no smushing at all. Feel free to reach out
