Hello everybody,
Welcome to my blog. This card was created some time ago as a customer gift. Each month I create a card for all my customers. For customers who order $50 or more, they receive a small gift as well. This is usually a pack of embellishments. I try to incorporate the embellishments into the card I sent. This card uses the no longer available Garden Gems, but you can substitute them for the Iridescent Rhinestones Basic Jewels coloured with the Dark Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blends marker.
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Card Details:
- Card Base: Balmy Blue (10.5 x 27.9 cm scored 14.85 cm down)
- Card Front: Balmy Blue (10 x 14.35 cm)
- Image Focus: Balmy Blue die cut using Layering Circles
- Card Insert: Basic White (10 x 14.35 cm)
- Stamp the filler image of the strawberry in Real Red onto Fluid 100 Watercolour Paper. Then using a Water Painter blend the ink colour.
- Repeat the above with the leaves & strawberry stem in Soft Succulent ink, and flowers in Pale Papaya ink.
- Once the water coloured ink is dried stamp the outline over the top. For the strawberry I stamped the outline in Cherry Cobbler. The leaves outline is stamped in Soft Succulent and the flowers outline in Pale Papaya.
- Punch out the shapes.
- Onto the card front stamp the large leaves and flowers image in stamped off Balmy Blue ink. Stamp the sentiment on the bottom left corner in full strength Balmy Blue ink. Adhere the card front to the card base.
- Take the scalloped circle die cut and using a Blending Brush blend some Balmy Blue around the edges. Adhere the plain circle over the top and trim an edge off. Adhere to the card front using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
- Add the strawberry, leaves and flowers to the circle.
- To finish off place some Garden Gems around.
To finish off the card I stamped the same leaf and flower image on the inside of the card and on the envelope.
Thank you for visiting my blog! I hope that I’ve inspired you to be creative.
Bye for now!
