Its been 20 days since my last post. I haven’t meant it to be so long between posts but life certainly taken over. The kids have had two weeks school holidays and it has been a bit of a challenging one. All four of us have been sick at one point during those two weeks. I’m really glad school returned this week ;). Anyways, moving onto my next card. I’m really excited about this one.
I knew when I purchased the Number of Years stamp set that it will be super versatile. I created this card for a very special person in my life. I had so much fun stamping the card front, but its the inside that gets me so excited. When you open the card a whole section twists out and pops up!
How COOL is that?!? When my upline Michelle first showed me a twist and pop card I knew I had to make one. They are so much fun! I wanted to keep my card simple inside and just have the twist and pop be the feature. Do you like it?
I decided to use Very Vanilla cardstock on top of the Real Red cardstock base because I felt it gave a more elegant look. I’m very happy how well Real Red and Emerald Envy look together and I don’t think it looks Christmasy at all (though if you do feel free to say so). In side sentiment came from the Cool Treats stamp set. I thought that the font complimented the flowers really well.
