Hello everybody!
Welcome to my blog. How quickly this year is going!!! I’m particularly noticing it with the Colour INKspiration Challenges and it’s time for a new one! It’s number 143 and you get to pick at least three new 2023-2025 In Colors for this challenge!
Here’s my project using the inspiration:
[All supplies used in this project are shown at the end of this post and are linked to my Stampin’ Up! online store. You can purchase them and create this project too! Thank you for your support of my stamping adventure]
Card Details:
- Card Base: Basic Black cardstock
- Card Front: Basic White cardstock (10 x 14.35 cm) embossed with the crossed hatched folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders
- Sentiment Panel: Basic Black cardstock (7.5 x 6 cm)
- Card Insert: Basic White cardstock (10 x 14.35 cm)
- On some scrap Basic White cardstock stamp some daisy flowers from the Color & Contour stamp set.
- I found it easiest to stamp the filler image first (2nd generation or stamped off) and then the outline image over the top in 1st generation (or full strength).
- For my project I used one Boho Blue daisy, two Wild Wheat daisies, and two Moody Mauve daisies.
- die cut out the flowers with the coordinating die from the So-called Contours Dies
- On the Basic Black sentiment panel stamp in Versamrk the sentiment ” Your’e on my mind and in my heart” from Good Feelings stamp set. Then heat set with Heat & Stick Powder. Then cover with Gilded Leafing and rub off with your finger the excess.
- If you want you can start with a larger piece of Basic Black and then trim down to size.
- Adhere the card front to the card base and position all the flowers where you would like them. Adhere the flowers down once happy.
- Adhere the sentiment using Basic Back Stampin’ Dimensionals (you can use the white ones too).
- Tie a bow in the Boho Blue Textured Ribbon and adhere to the front.
- To finish off add some Moody Mauve 2023-2025 In Color Dots.
To finish off the project I like to make sure there’s no naked envelopes and inside the card. For this project I stamped the daisy in Moody Mauve on the envelope front and inside on the card insert.
