Demonstrator Training May 2020 Blog Hop

Hello everybody! Welcome to my blog!
My name is Tatiana and I’m an independent Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator in Australia. Today I’m participating in our monthly blog hop with Kylie’s Demonstrator Training Program. The training has opened my eyes and many doors to me about running a Stampin’ Up!® business but what I’ve gotten out of it the most is friendships.

One of my favourite things about being a Stampin’ Up!® demonstrator is that I’m constantly exposed to so much creative inspiration from other demonstrators. Today’s card was inspired by a layout by Tammy Wilson.

Card Details:

  • Card Base: Whisper White Thick
  • Card Front: Highland Heather (10 x 14.8 cm) and Whisper White (9.7 x 14.5 cm) embossed with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder
  • Sentiment Label: Whisper White using the smallest label die from Painted Labels Dies. Trim the label and stamp the sentiment in Highland Heather.
  • Watercolour the poppy elements from the Peaceful Poppies element (there are some white embossed elements on watercolour paper). I coloured the flowers using Highland Heather and Seaside Spray. The leaves in Mint Macaron.
  • Assemble the card and add the sentiment label using Stampin’ Dimensionals.
  • I found it best to arrange the flowers and to glue them down in the centre with Multipurpose Liquid Glue. Then add the leaves. Add the bow with a Mini Glue Dot.
  • To add the sequins, add drops of Multipurpose Liquid Glue where you want them. Let it set and then use the Take Your Pick tool to place the sequins

As I like to say, no card is complete till you’ve decorated the inside of the card and the envelope. Today I added a poppy element to the inside of the card. On the envelope I embossed the flap with the Scripty 3D Embossing Folder and then gave it a light wash in Sea Side Spray.
